But there is a push to get Medicare to cover lymphedema garments and to pay for the cost of care for persons suffering from lymphedema, whether primary lymphedema (sometimes present already at birth, sometimes developing at puberty or in adulthood), or secondary lymphedema (acquired from surgery or other cause, such as mastectomy).Answered on July 27, 2013flag this answer
