As a rule, yes.  If they are medically necessary they should be covered as durable medical equipment under Medicare Part B.  Your doctor would have to prescribe them and he would generally get approval from Medicare.  You would be responsible for 20% of the Medicare approved amount.

Knee walkers can be a covered expense under Medicare if your doctor approves the equipment. As with any DME (durable medical equipment) purchase you should use a Medicare approved supplier that accepts Medicare assignment. Providers that do not accept assignment can balance bill you which will substantially increase your OOP expenses.
