    If you have current health insurance provided by your employer, and it is a comprehensive plan covering office visits, prescriptions and major medical, you should continue on that plan, assuming that rates are low or the employer is paying the premium.

    If you are age 65 or older,and are covered under a group plan at work, you will still be eligible for an Open Enrollment for a Medicare Supplement plan when you lose your existing coverage.
