63333 POINTSview profilePeggy MaceMost of the U.S.You can only go on Medicare at age 62 if: 1) you have been receiving Social Security Disability Income (SSDI) benefits for two years, or 2) if you have been diagnosed with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) and meet the other qualifying criteria, or 3) you have been diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).
