Yes, you can change from Medicare Advantage to Medigap. You must first disenroll from your Medicare Advantage Plan and switch back to original Medicare.
If you joined a Medicare Advantage plan when you first signed up for Medicare and are changing to Medigap within 12 months, you can choose from any Medigap policy.
If you had a Medigap policy, switched to Medicare Advantage, and decided within 12 months to go back to Medigap, you can get your old policy back if it is still available. However, it will no longer have the prescription drug coverage. You may be able to get that from Medicare Part D.
