At What Age Do I Qualify For Medicare?
- 63333 POINTSview profilePeggy MaceMost of the U.S.Age 65 is the age at which you are automatically enrolled in Medicare Part A and Part B, if you have worked and paid Medicare taxes long enough to qualify for Medicare, and if you are drawing Social Security at age 65. If you are not drawing Social Security at that age you must enroll in Medicare. You can qualify at a younger age if you have been receiving SSDI for two years or have ESRD or ALS.Answered on July 11, 2013flag this answer
