    Of course every long term care insurance policy differs in its own contractual language regarding assisted living, but in general terms their policy provisions accommodate it. It’s usually in the best interest of the company and the insured to pay for home care, than nursing home care. Extended care at home is an ever popular choice among seniors.

It can also pay for services in residential facilities or in one's own home, where home health care is provided. When purchasing a policy be sure to pick the features that will allow you the freedom to choose the type of care you would prefer to have if even unable to live independently.
