How Many People Buy Long Term Care Insurance?

    Latest number show approximately 8 million people in the US have Long Term Care insurance.  This is 2.5% of the US population and 4% of the US adult population.  Certainly given that a larger percentage of the US population is expected to require long term care, more people should have long term care insurance.
