Will Life Insurance Pay For Funerals?
- 63333 POINTSview profilePeggy MaceMost of the U.S.Yes, Life Insurance will pay for funerals if you want it to pay for funerals. The person taking out the policy can leave the proceeds of the policy to a funeral home, or to a trust that will pay the funeral home, or to a beneficiary who will pay for the funeral bill with proceeds from the life insurance policy. Life insurance will pay for whatever the Insured person and/or beneficiary desires.Answered on September 24, 2013flag this answer

THe death benefit of a life insurance policy is paid to the beneficiary or beneficiaries with "no strings attached". In other words the proceeds of a life insurance policy when paid to the beneficiary is theirs to do with what they wish.Answered on August 16, 2015flag this answer
