My father passed in 2007 i recently found his life policy, where do i start?

    Most of the U.S.
    The best place to start is to call the life insurance company through which he took out the policy. If the company has changed hands, you can google the name of the old company and the company that bought it will come up in some results. Look at the Contact tab on the company website for Customer Service.
