Can You Get Life Insurance If You Are Bipolar?

The things that would cause them to NOT get a medically underwritten policy are a recent hospitalization for bipolar disorder, not having had at least year of stability, or being on Disability specifically for bipolar disorder. You can go for either a guaranteed issued policy which asks a few health questions or fully underwritten if you have not hospitalized recently from your bipolar disorder. A lot will depend on how much coverage you are seeking. The smaller the amount the less questions typically asked.Answered on June 26, 2013flag this answer
