Can Someone In Jail Get Life Insurance?
- 63333 POINTSview profilePeggy MaceMost of the U.S.Nearly all life insurance policies are NOT available to persons in jail, because nearly all policies ask about recent crimes or probation. However, technically, guaranteed issue life insurance policies should be able to be obtained by inmates who fit the age guideline, are applying for an amount that is financially justifiable, and who have enough income or assets to pay premiums. I called Colonial Penn to ask about their guaranteed acceptance life insurance and the representative said that someone in jail could get it if he/she met the guidelines.Answered on May 6, 2013flag this answer
