    Schizophrenics can get life insurance through some simplified issue (no exam or medical records needed), and all guaranteed policies (no health or risk questions asked at all), provided that they meet the age requirements. Life insurance that requires an exam and medical records would not be available to a person with schizophrenia except in the mildest of cases.
