Can I Own More Than One Life Insurance Policy?
- 4249 POINTSview profileGary LanePresident, Lane Independent Agency, Southern CaliforniaYes, you most definitely can own more than one life insurance policy. The only thing to be careful of, is the death benefits must total no more than would be reasonable for a person with your expected income level. Many of our clients at New York Life hold two, three or even four policies! Gary Lane, Registered Representative, New York Life, 949 797 2424. Thank you.Answered on December 21, 2013flag this answer

Sometimes different types of policies meet different needs, and it is more economically feasible to carry a variety of products (e.g. a term policy to cover a mortgage and a whole life policy to cover final expenses).Answered on December 26, 2013flag this answer
