Homeowners insurance policies have a mold limitation or exclusion on the policy so there is a limit to the coverage. Also the question would be what caused the mold. If the mold was caused by a covered claim then there may be some limited coverage. If this is something occurring due to a non covered claim most likely the mold would be excluded. Always check with your agent.
