   Home insurance can be expensive is you are not shopping around. Some carriers are full replacement cost others are actual cash value. You most in expensive rates usually are from and independent agent not from a captive agent as a  captive agent doesn't have as  many carriers to offer  My best advise would be to shop around or feel fre to give me a call
