Which Homeowners Insurance Allows Pit Bulls?

Most carriers will insure the home but not cover the Liability of your dog. Read through your policy and see if there is an animal exclusion. I have been told that there are carriers that will write a separate policy for covering the liability portion of your dog causing injury but it is a very hefty price.Answered on June 24, 2013flag this answer
- 97 POINTSview profileherb neaseagent owner, shelter insurance,Most companiews will not write any liability insurance for animals that have biting tendecies like pit bulls, doberman pinchers and german shepherds and in some cities the homeowner is required to get a license if they have a biting tendecy anmal.
