Where Do I Get Homeowners Insurance?
- 37376 POINTSview profileDavid G. Pipes, CLU®, RICP®Business Development Officer, T.D. McNeil Insurance Services, Fresno, CaliforniaHomeowner’s insurance is available from a variety of sources. I recommend that you get the services of a trusted insurance agent. If you don’t already have an agent, get recommendations from neighbors, friends and colleagues. A good agent will listen to you, provide solid financial advice and communicate clearly with you and the insurance company. Setting appropriate limits is critical and the agent should be of great assistance in this.Answered on August 19, 2014flag this answer

When you work with a local agent, you get the same person, on the phone almost every time you call. You have someone who knows your account and can advise you on what is best for you and your family. You can also get insurance online and by phone, however you will not receive the same personalized service you receive from an independent agent!Answered on August 9, 2016flag this answer
