When Is Homeowners Insurance Not Required?

    Homeowners is not required by state law.  It is required by most lenders.  So, it is your motgage company that requires the homeonwer's policy.  They will require that until the mortgage is fully discharged at which time no one will require that you have a homeowner's policy.
