Much of the information required to underwrite your homeowner’s policy is public information.  What you need to know is that you have an agent that you trust.  The next thing is to answer every question about the property to the best of your ability.  Make sure all that information is sent to the insurance company and check the policy when it arrives to make sure that it is exactly what you ordered.
