Does Your Homeowners Insurance Go Up With A Pool?
- 14231 POINTSview profileTom SheehanAgency Owner, The Thomas G Sheehan Agency, 27 Glen Road Sandy Hook, CT 06482Not normally, no. However, talk to your insurance professional about the increased liability exposures that a pool can bring into the picture. Increasing the liability coverage in your Homeowner policy will increase the premium of course, but by very little. It would also be a great idea to think about amPersonal Umbrella policy as well.Answered on December 28, 2013flag this answer

Otherwise most insurance providers do not increase premiums for a pool. However as a pool owner I highly suggest you carry a personal umbrella policy in the event of an unfortunate accident in and around the pool that could lead to bodily injury or even death.Answered on January 1, 2014flag this answer
