    The personal property covered under a homeowner’s policy is covered at full value in a new home for 30 days under most circumstances.  However, the limit of coverage is only 10% of the normal personal property limit while the property is outside the old residence and not in the new.  If you are planning a move, contact your insurance agent for advice on how to minimize your exposure and provide adequate protection for your property.
