Does Homeowners Insurance Cover Ice Damage?

    If your residence is damaged because of the weight of accumulated ice, snow or sleet, you can expect payment under most homeowner’s policies.  That does not hold true for a swimming pool, as that is an excluded peril.  As a homeowner you should do all you can to stop accumulated ice from damaging your home.
