Does Homeowners Insurance Cover A Shed?
- 12689 POINTSview profileTed RatliffOwner, SFS Associates,Most policies cover other structures including a shed, garage or barn for the same perils as the home. The amount of coverage is usually around 10% of the dwelling, so a home insured for $100,000 would have coverage on the shed of about $10,000. Evey company has minor differences so make sure you check you policy or ask your agent to review the particulars of your policy.Answered on June 16, 2013flag this answer
