Do I Need Earthquake Insurance My Home?
- 12689 POINTSview profileTed RatliffOwner, SFS Associates,A lot depends on the area you live in. Generally, unless you are somewhere like California, earthquake coverage is inexpensive and its not a bad idea to add it if it is not already included. Some companies may require it. Ohio where I live for example, is not know for it's earthquakes however we have had a few relatively minor ones that has caused damage. Unless you are in an area where there is no chance of an earthquake I would recommend it.Answered on April 16, 2013flag this answer
