Will Employers Stop Offering Health Insurance?
- 1805 POINTSview profileSamuel SmithEnrolled Agent-licensed to practice before the IRS, Samuel N Smith, EA, South CarolinaThe projection of the availability of insurance going forward is that the employer market will decrease while the individual market will increase. Employers and the insurance conmpanies has spent millions trying to prepare for the requirements of ACA and now it appears that the health care industry will be reeling for some time because the regulators and the insurance companies cannot just turn a switch on here today and then turn it off because the government failed to understand what they were doing when they passed a law to require cancellation of millions of policies.Answered on November 17, 2013flag this answer
