Where To File A Complaint Against A Health Insurance Company?
- 1450 POINTSview profileFred AdamsThe HSA Expert, Health Revival, Athens, GAAll insurance companies are regulated on a state level. The first place to complain would be with the Department of Insurance of the state in which you reside. If your health coverage was purchased on either a state or federal insurance exchange (i.e. an "Obamacare plan"), you may also file a complaint directly with the exchange. I would also suggest you speak with an independent insurance agent that represents the company to see if they can be of any assistance in resolving your concerns, or helping you change plans.Answered on September 5, 2014flag this answer
