    Health insurance coverage ends when either you or the company terminates the policy. Typically, you can cancel a policy at any time (group plans may be a bit trickier). An insurance company normally can not cancel a policy unless there is a lapse, fraud or benefits are no longer offered in a certain area.

    Also, if someone  no longer qualifies (such as reaching age 65), it is possible a policy can be canceled. A broker is always a great resource for this type of question.
