What Does Health Insurance Cost An Employer?
- 1350 POINTSview profileKatherine McDanielsOwner/Insurance Broker, KM Health Insurance Services, Hazel Crest, IllinoisGood question. Normally an employer has to pay at least 25% of the premium and sometimes they pay up to 100%, that's up to them. So if the plan is $300 for you alone, if they pay 50%(which many employers do) they would be paying $150 and you would probably pay $75 per 2 weeks which of course equals $150 monthly.Answered on May 11, 2013flag this answer
