Is It Bad To Not Have Health Insurance?
- 16470 POINTSview profileDavid OsgoodAgent, Rural Mutual Insurance Co., Union Grove, WIYes, unless you are independently wealthy and do not care about the amount of money that you spend out of pocket should you become sick or injured. Health insurance will at least provide you with a partial cap on the amount of money that you spend out of pocket. Normally this amount is called the deductible and co-pay; many of the cost beyond this will be paid by the policy up to the policy limits. Remember every policy is different. Please read your policy completely to understand the coverage provided and any exclusions that there may be or contact your local agent to have them go over the policy with you.Answered on November 5, 2013flag this answer
