Health Insurance is a Privilege; it is a privilege to have #healthinsurance which is a benefit in many ways. If an insurance company insures a person in return for a premium paid, the insured person now has the benefit of lower health costs due to agreed upon health tariffs negotiated between the insurance carriers and health providers, in addition, the insured person will only be responsible for a portion of the now lower fees for health services received.
In areas of socialized health care, the Government or Employers may be paying the premiums for the same benefits explained above. The outcome is always better when everyone is insured since it lowers the overall 'risk' taken by the insurance companies; with better health care, comes better health, lower risk, lower premium and a greater public awareness of the ability to promote better health care options.
