    The answer to your question will vary significantly depending upon the state you (or the child is located in), the health plan you select and whether you qualify for any premium subsidies.  Depending upon your income level you children may be eligible for coverage through the Childrens Health Insurance Program, which is essentially Medicaid for children and comes at no cost.

    Assuming you are paying the entire monthly premium for a child you would probably be looking at monthly costs ranging from $75 to nearly $200 per month, once again, depending upon the insurance carrier, the level of coverage and the child's geographic location.
