How Do You Pay A Health Insurance Deductible?
- 1805 POINTSview profileSamuel SmithEnrolled Agent-licensed to practice before the IRS, Samuel N Smith, EA, South CarolinaIt depends on the attitude of the health care provider. Some health care providers has a "billing clerk" that will greet you and say "your deductible amount is $250 and that must be paid now". Other providers allow you to come for the treatment and then bill you for the deductible after the insurance company has paid. Do not hesitate to discuss this question with the provider and if they refuse to treat you with dignity and respect then find another provider.Answered on November 24, 2013flag this answer
