If you have group coverage available to you through your employer and your spouse has group coverage through their employer and you only want to go on group coverage (and not buy individual coverage), you generally would need to accept the coverage through your employer and would not qualify to be covered under your spouse's group plan through their employer.
You should be able to contact your company's HR department to get a definitive answer regarding your specific circumstances because some rules for group coverage can vary depending on whether you're a part time or full time worker, whether coverage meets ACA requirements for minimum essential coverage, and other factors.
If you're getting married, you would have a qualifying event for a special enrollment period to purchase an individual health plan.
