Does Health Insurance Cover Wisdom Tooth Removal?
- 21750 POINTSview profileJim WinklerCEO/Owner, Winkler Financial Group, Houston, TexasGreat question! The answer, probably not so much. Hopefully you have a dental coverage included, if you have the policy through your employer as most of the expenses will be billed as dental, and not health. If you have dental , you should be ok. If you don't, some portion of the cost can be covered by your health insurance, but I would expect that most won't be. If that is the case, ask your dentist and oral surgeon if you can set up payment plans with them, so that the work is affordable. If you would like more help, please feel free to contact me, I'm happy to help. Thanks for asking!Answered on April 24, 2014flag this answer
