It greatly depends on the type of policy you have, & whether it is deemed medically necessary, or elective. You may be able to pay only co-pays if you have a group policy, or a percentage if you have an individual policy. Many supplemental policies such as Aflac, will actually pay you, a reimbursement, for each day in the hospital, Ambulance transpiration, & other procedures you may go through.
