    Allstate does not underwrite and issue health insurance under their own brand. It is quite possible in your state that they have a marketing arrangement with a health insurance carrier that will actually underwrite, issue, collect premiums and pay claims. Your Allstate agent may or may not be well versed in health insurance options. You should always consider using an independent agent that specializes in health insurance plans.
