    You can get a fixed indemnity policy which also known as a guaranteed issue policy almost immediately without underwriting. The Private Health Care System (PHCS) network has negotiated costs for procedures with doctors and hospitals within that network much like the Medicare system. A downside to the policy is a year long waiting period for surgeries or procedures related to any given pre existing procedure, and the upside is it will cover nearly everything else up to $1,000,000 lifetime.As of October 1, 2013 you will be eligible for health insurance with cancer or any kind of pre existing condition.  You will have a choice of providers on your state's online exchange. Be prepared for higher than expected rates on the exchange.
