    In many cases the answer would be yes.  There are situations that the premiums may be deductible.  A self employed individual for example may be able to take a deduction.  If you file long form and are able to itemize deductions you may be able to include health insurance premiums.  Check with your tax adviser on the exact rules for your situation.
