   Can a spouse drop the other spouse from thier health plan? Usually no without your permission. Unfortunately, this happens in cases of divorce or just prior to. A good HR person will get the request in writing where it should state that if the spouse is being dropped from coverage, their signature should also be on the form when turned in.
