   You can but you would be throwing your money away.  Health insurance policies coordinate benefits.  They will not pay more than 100% of the bill.  Deductibles and copay's will still apply.  You do not need to have more than one Major Medical health plan.  There are some supplemental plans that pay in addition to your Major Medical.  You might want to consider one of these.
