Do you presently have coverage and have no lapsed that coverage? If the answer is yes than you should be able to get other coverage without much trouble.
If you do not presently have coverage, and this is individual health insurance, you may have trouble getting coverage. There are several changes due soon under PPACA that will potentially make getting coverage easier, although at a higher price.
