   What does permanent disability cover?    This appears to be a mixed question so lets see if I can make mud out of it. What defines "permanent disability"?   For the absolute best it would read as follows.." unable to do the material aspects of their current occupation and under a doctor's care. "  That describes the best disability language you can get.
