Disability Income Insurance evaluates health factors, so the cost of the policy will depend on how the applicant is rated health wise. If a nonsmoker who is of normal weight and has no health history, Preferred ratings can be given. The price also depends on the risk of the occupation, how much income the applicant makes (and how much of that income they want to replace in case of disability), and what bells and whistles they want on their policy.
