Does Disability Insurance Cover Pre Existing Conditions?
- 12689 POINTSview profileTed RatliffOwner, SFS Associates,Most disability plans will exclude preexisting conditions. A company is not going to pay for a disability caused by a known problem. For example if you are being treated for a bad back and become disabled for a back issue as a result, the company would not pay. The condition will usually be excluded in writing or the policy in some cases may be declined.Answered on June 22, 2013flag this answer
