    It depends on the policy and amount of coverage.  Cancer plans are usually very affordable.  I like critical illness plans better.  A critical illness plan can include cancer bu it also covers things like heart attack, stroke, and other critical illnesses that can be devastating to a person, even f they have health insurance.  The cost is not much greater.

    Like all insurance cover it depends on your age, health, gender and medical history. The cost for most cancer policies is relatively inexpensive. A better consideration may be critical illness insurance that covers cancer and other diseases like heart or stroke. Critical illness riders can also be purchased on life insurance policies.
