Your credit score is not a part of the computation for an auto premium in California.  I know that your “insurance score” is a complicated process and may include credit.  That is used in some but not all states.  In California the premium is determined based on the year, make, and model of the automobile and the drivers and their habits that are in the household with the primary insured.  There is also a significant component based upon mileage.
