Why Do Guys Pay More For Car Insurance?
- 37376 POINTSview profileDavid G. Pipes, CLU®, RICP®Business Development Officer, T.D. McNeil Insurance Services, Fresno, CaliforniaCar insurance rates are rarely a “moral issue.” If guys have worse driving records than young women, the company can ask many states to allow them to rate them separately. In California, that isn’t an option. There are only a few rating factors in California and sex isn’t one of them. That doesn’t make insurance cheaper, it merely means that there isn’t a distinction between male and female drivers in California.Answered on May 14, 2014flag this answer
