When Does Car Insurance Get Cheaper?
- 170 POINTSview profileAndrew CampbellField Manager, AAA, WisconsinThat is a very good question, there are many elements today that go into the cost of insurance. When you look at when does car insurance become less expensive there are a few factors that may help. If you have had any accidents and/or tickets your premium could decrease once they have fallen off after years (carrier's vary as time), when your premier score has increased (similar to a credit score) as well as changes in life such as getting married or graduating college can decrease your auto premium.Answered on November 18, 2014flag this answer

Maintain a good driving record for at least three years as a respected credit score. Insure both your car and home with the same company to start the multi policy discounts. If you add a life policy the discounts may deepen. Association memberships may also trigger affinity discounts as well.Answered on November 19, 2014flag this answer
