Is It Mandatory To Have Car Insurance In Every state?
- 1370 POINTSview profileJack HellerOwner, Insurance Browser,The answer her is not exactly 100% but for all practical purposes it is. There are some provision in some states that allow you to post a bond which insures that you will in fact be able respond to any accident you cause.Over the last several decades we have seen an increase in the cost of fixing people ( bodily injury) and fixing cars. So while this is technically a means other than insurance it would exist as an option for handfuls of individuals. Try to think of insurance as protecting you in two important ways 1) it is going to help bring persons you injure back to some measure of their former lives if it all possible ( obviously you can not undo a fatality).(2) But insurance also protects you form people who for whatever reason do not have insurance or not enough to deal with your damages .Answered on December 23, 2013flag this answer
